Community skill sharing workshop in conjunction with Sustainable Fashion Week UK 2023. Organised by award winning sustainable fashion Designer Laura Basevi.

In the UK an estimated 13 million items end up in landfill each week! It’s time to take action ourselves to make do and mend the clothes already in existence.

✂️Bring along a garment that you would like to repair or reinvent, with advice from Laura if you need it!

🧵We have a few machines for you to start your projects but if you have your own you are welcome to bring it along. There will also be various vintage textiles and haberdashery but if you need a specific item (i.e. replacement zip) either purchase your own or message and we will try to help.

☕️It’s a relaxed atmosphere and a chance to reconnect with others over a cuppa while stitching. Free tea and coffee on the night.
